Most New York apartments came with a radiator and a view of someone else's window. Not a washer. StreetEasy's 2025 count put in-unit laundry in about a third of rental listings. The rest of us carry bags down the stairs, around the corner and back up again.
Block Laundry is a new pickup service for the other two-thirds. We don't own machines. We partner with neighborhood laundromats that already do good wash-and-fold all day, and we handle everything around the machine. That means booking, a pickup window you can plan around, a photo of the scale before you pay, a receipt that adds up, and a reply when you write.
We're opening block by block along the East River. A neighborhood goes live when a laundromat there signs on and passes our test orders. This page will always say where we are.
