Opening block by block
In a live ZIP, a pickup request becomes a real pickup. We confirm the window by email during desk hours (8 am–8 pm, Monday to Saturday), a partner laundromat does the washing, and the scale photo reaches you before you pay. Washing, and the charge for it, start only under the auto-go limit you chose or after your “go”.
Live ZIPs: 10002, 10003 and 10009 (the Lower East Side and East Village); 11211, 11249 and 11222 (Williamsburg and Greenpoint); 11101, 11109, 11102, 11103, 11105 and 11106 (Long Island City and Astoria). A request from anywhere else is a waitlist entry only.
Asking costs nothing
A request or a waitlist spot is free and doesn't lock you into anything. You pay only for laundry we actually picked up, washed and brought back, by a link that arrives after delivery.
Neighborhoods, windows and prices can change. If a change affects your pickup, we email you before it happens.
Who actually washes it
An independent neighborhood laundromat we partner with, in commercial machines, one order per machine. Partners are named on this site once their agreement is signed, and your weigh-in email names the one holding your bag. Any part of the work that requires a license is done only by a business holding that license.
The money part
$2.19 a pound, $30 minimum, pickup and return included, no service fee. A standing weekly window is $1.99 a pound with no monthly charge. Comforters, duvets and sleeping bags are $25 each; bath mats are $6. Prices on the site are the prices for pickups requested while they're shown.
Every bag is weighed at the laundromat and photographed. Under your auto-go limit we start; over it we wait for you. Think the weight is wrong? Say so before paying: we re-weigh and charge the lower number. Laundry service carries no New York sales tax.
Late, lost, damaged, cancelled
The late credit, the lost-and-damaged limits, free cancelling and saying no at the weigh-in live in the fine print, which counts as part of these terms.
Limits
The website is offered as it is. Where the law lets us, we're not responsible for indirect losses. None of this takes away rights New York consumer law gives you.
Which law applies
New York law, specifically the laws of the State of New York.
